Kirsten Bay serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for Attensity. Kirsten is a recognized thought leader in business process integration and turn-around initiatives, and brings 18 years of strategic process and organizational policy experience from the consumer product, finance, and information management industries. Prior to Attensity, Kirsten developed econometric policy models for information protection and national security programs as an advisor to the government and enterprise, and served as Vice President of Commercial Business at iSIGHT Partners, where she developed programs designed to enable the private sector to integrate cyber threat intelligence into their risk management, financial forecasting, and business decision programs. Kirsten came to data economics and analytics from the financial services sector where she managed $750 million in wealth management trust banking portfolios. She holds a BA in English and German from the University of Oregon.
Beth Beld is an executive distinguished with over 20 years’ experience leading enterprise global marketing and product management organizations. Beth is recognized as a thought leader in the enterprise software space with specific expertise in creating and defining new enterprise business whitespace opportunities that lead to new market category definition and explosive growth opportunities in existing category definitions. Beth has spent 20 years working with related customers, industry analysts, social media, press, and academic influencers to drive marketing strategy and new category creation. In addition, she has spent several years leading marketing, portfolio strategy, and solution management in all aspects of enterprise business software, business intelligence, enterprise performance management, and enterprise financial software areas, as well as high-performance workplace solutions. Recently, Beth spent six years at SAP responsible for the market creation of SAP StreamWork, a social-business solution focused on collaborative decision-making in the enterprise. Beth holds a patent from SAP on systems and methods for accessing software via user intent modeling. This patent was developed around the concepts of the future of work in the enterprise that combines enterprise content and corporate intelligence with everyday user intent language – as coined in the term “Language of Business.” Beth most recently was responsible for Customer Innovation Marketing at SAP, marketing portfolio strategy and new market category creation.
Thomas Dreikauss is General Manager of Attensity Europe GmbH and responsible for managing the Business Development of Attensity to meet the company’s growth objectives in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He brings more than 20 years of sales management and marketing experience with enterprise software solutions at both, start-up and public companies. He has a demonstrated track record of successfully building teams and helping companies grow their business even under the toughest circumstances. Leading the way in his career was his position as EMEA Sales Director and CEO of Inxight Software GmbH, a leading provider of software solutions for finding information in unstructured data. Over five years he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the enterprise business units, Federal Government and OEM. The Xerox PARC start-up company in 2007 was a 100% subsidiary of Business Objects and is now part of SAP. Mr. Dreikauss was instrumental in the integration of Inxight / Business Objects into SAP. In addition, Mr. Dreikauss has gained management experience in technology and media companies such as ParcPlace Systems, Object Share, Valtech and nexx.tv.
Catherine brings more than 15 years of experience thriving on the passion and intensity of technology startups and rollups. Prior to Attensity, Catherine was VP of Marketing for the Block Shield family of companies, where she defined and implemented new positioning, product, and branding strategies in support of company restructuring and acquisition of technology assets. Previously, Catherine was Director of Analytic Products at Business Objects, an SAP company. She came to Business Objects through its acquisition of Inxight Software, where she led product management and assisted in the repositioning of the company as “going beyond Google”. Catherine has also held product management and marketing roles at a variety of technology companies, including Butterfly Security, Kovair, iSyndicate, and Metcal. Catherine holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in English from the Johnston Center at the University of Redlands.
Mike leads our financial management, planning, administrative, and accounting activities in the Americas. He has more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience across a broad cross-section of industries. Prior to Attensity, Mike was a consultant and served as Interim CFO of BakBone Software in San Diego where he helped lead the financial team through a complex restatement and SEC filing process and worked on installing new systems and processes strengthening internal controls. Previously, Mike was Vice President of Finance and Administration for Inxight Software, Inc. which was acquired by Business Objects. At Inxight, he helped lead the organization through a recapitalization of the business in 2005 and achieving significant cost improvements during a rapid revenue growth period. A respected manager and executive, Mike has held senior finance and management positions with Terraspring (acquired by Sun Microsystems), Cooke Pharma (acquired by United Therapeutics), Siemens Telegyr Systems, CBR, and ITT. Mike has also worked with entrepreneurs that founded two start-up technology companies in homeland and network security and provided consultative services in mergers and acquisitions for three acquisitions completed by Keynote Systems. Mike is a licensed CPA and a graduate of the University of Central Florida, in Orlando. He is a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs, California Society of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants.
