Howard Lau

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Howard Lau serves as Chairman and CEO for Attensity, an enterprise software and services company specializing in Corporate Intelligence and Brand Equity management.  Mr Lau has led the Attensity Board of Directors as its Executive Chairman since early 2013, leveraging over 25 years of experience in the business software sector with an extensive background in investments and operations.  Previously, Mr. Lau was Founding Executive at SAP Labs and SAP Ventures, and he has served as a partner in the venture capitalist industry for over 10 years.  Most recently, Mr. Lau was Managing Director at East Gate Capital.  As a venture capitalist, he has invested in over 30 companies that have returned over 4 times the investors’ capital.  Mr. Lau has worked in managerial capacities at SAP, Oracle, Sun Microsystems and Andersen Consulting throughout his career.  He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Thomas Dreikauss

Managing Director and General Manager DACH Region

Thomas Dreikauss is General Manager of Attensity Europe GmbH and responsible for managing the Business Development of Attensity to meet the company’s growth objectives in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He brings more than 20 years of sales management and marketing experience with enterprise software solutions at both, start-up and public companies. He has a demonstrated track record of successfully building teams and helping companies grow their business even under the toughest circumstances. Leading the way in his career was his position as EMEA Sales Director and CEO of Inxight Software GmbH, a leading provider of software solutions for finding information in unstructured data. Over five years he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the enterprise business units, Federal Government and OEM. The Xerox PARC start-up company in 2007 was a 100% subsidiary of Business Objects and is now part of SAP. Mr. Dreikauss was instrumental in the integration of Inxight / Business Objects into SAP. Frank Brown

Chief Financial Officer

Frank brings over 25 years of experience in the technology and finance industries. Prior to Attensity, he has worked with a number of leading companies in the software, communications, and semiconductor industries, at the executive and board level, to chart corporate strategy and manage internal operations. Frank’s experience includes positions with IBM Corporation, Andersen Consulting, Oracle Corporation and Lehman Brothers. Frank’s background also includes a number of years in the investment banking and venture capital industries. His successful track record as a venture capitalist includes investments across the technology and healthcare sectors. As the founder of Amber Ventures, Frank has worked as a senior finance executive in a variety of privately held technology companies guiding their activities in areas such as budgeting, accounting, fundraising and mergers and acquisitions.  Frank received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Decision Sciences, Finance and Accounting.

Martin Onofrio

Chief Revenue Officer

Martin is a 25 year sales executive with proven leadership skills in growing revenue and shaping the culture of organizations. He will be responsible for all revenue generation at Attensity and leads the strategy for generating more profitable revenue, building the bridge from long-term corporate strategy to field execution. Prior to Attensity, he spent time at Triple Point as a VP of Sales in the commodity management space. He has also served as VP of sales at Blue Martin, KANA, and enjoyed an eight year tenure at SAP as a founding member of SAP Americas where he lead sales teams to accelerated growth and results.

Tommy Hawkins

Vice President of Development

Tommy Hawkins is Vice President of Development at Attensity. In this role, Hawkins is responsible for all of Attensity’s technology, including software development, quality and service delivery.

With more than 30 years in the technology industry, Hawkins has held executive positions at multiple Silicon Valley startups including Informix, MarketFirst, Visigenic and PS’Soft. His background covers a broad variety of industries and technologies from databases through marketing automation to healthcare, and includes two successful IPO’s.

Hawkins graduated with a BS degree in Information and Computer Science from Georgia Tech and an MS in Medical Information Science from the University of California, San Francisco.

Mike White

VP, Operations and IT Security Officer

Mike is responsible for all IT functions for Attensity, Mr. White is responsible for datacenter operations in support of Attensity’s hosted SAAS solutions, including production support, application service delivery, management of development environments, and corporate IT services.  Additionally he is focused on defining the strategic goals for current infrastructure and future needs.   These role responsibilities include defining the security standards required to safeguard sensitive information, as well as policy creation, security assessment and auditing functions.

With more than 20 years of experience, White has held positions at SAP, Business Objects, and Silicon Valley startup, Inxight Software.  His background covers a wide range of IT technologies with a heavy focus on software development and datacenter management.  Mike has managed IT related functions for multiple M&A activities. He served honorably in the USAF.

James Purchase

VP, Product Management

James Purchase is assuming the role of VP, Product Management.  James has been with Attensity in various roles in client services, sales engineering and business solutions. He brings tremendous product knowledge and dedication to this role.

Gary Schaumburg

VP, Client Services

Gary Schaumburg is Attensity’s Vice President of Client Services, responsible for leading the Professional Services and Support teams. With over 25 years in software and professional services management, Gary has focused on creating customer value and scalable businesses from the chaos and uncertainty of new product and solution domains. His prior experience includes VP and leadership positions, with startup and cutting-edge businesses, in companies both large and small, including Hughes Electronics, Deloitte Consulting, Oracle, Octane Software, E.piphany, Velosant, Open Harbor, and Infosys Edge. He has helped start and rapidly grow organizations in the SaaS, Social Media, CRM, Commerce, Communication, and Supply Chain spaces. Gary’s educational background includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
