Requirements of the Position:
The Account Development Rep (ADR) is responsible for researching and identifying prospects for Attensity solutions, making contact with said prospects, and after qualification for fit for Attensity solutions, scheduling meetings for the customer with a designated Attensity Account Executive. The ADR promotes and generates new business discussions and opportunities that are handed off to the appropriate regional Account Executive for further discussion and compression through the sales funnel. A professional/enterprise ADR is not a telemarketer, but more a professional networker focusing on engaging target individuals in target accounts with meaningful dialog based on research, trigger and solution initiatives.
The primary responsibility of the Account Development Representative is to develop quality leads. The ADR supports a team of field Account Executives and works closely with them in lead generation efforts. The ADR also supports the field Account Executives via strategizing lead generation efforts and tactics related to specific accounts. The ADRs assist their Account Executives in developing new business by analyzing account potential by solution, researching appropriate contacts, initiating and nurturing dialog through Attensity social selling tools that results in setting introductory appointments.
- Develops business opportunities through effective cold calling, emailing and/or other professional contact techniques (LinkedIn InMail, Attensity BriefingPlace social selling application, OneSource/iSell, Tweet responses, industry group participation, etc.)
- Identifies development potential in accounts by studying current business and understanding via cursory research why an Attensity solution may be a potential fit.
- Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with external (prospects/customers) and internal associates (co-workers).
- Speaks and listens consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects regarding how the various solutions might provide business value.
- Develops sales opportunities by working as a supporting partner to a team of field Account Executives, generally geographically divided.
- Has primary responsibility for the Attensity BriefingPlace social selling deployment that is customized for the top 20 target accounts for each field Account Executive.
- Has weekly update/strategy calls with field Account Executives to review progress, strategize new account ideas, entry points, etc.
- Contributes information to sales management by evaluating current results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, and extensive collaboration with Account Development Managers leaders and fellow Account Development Representatives.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Maintains accurate records of all prospecting activities, including calls, emails, discovery call setting, lead passes, etc., in Salesforce.com
- Participates (by geographical assignment) in timely follow ups from marketing events, including, but not limited to Webinars, Trade Shows, User Conferences and other Events.
- Becomes an expert at exploiting the prospecting tools provided including, but not limited to: Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, iSell/OneSource, and publically available information on the Internet.

Internship Description:
Attensity is looking for interns interested in Customer Experience Management and Business Intelligence. This internship will expose you to the world’s most cutting edge methods for helping customers understand and manage vast amounts of structured and unstructured data, even in Social Media (Imagine extracting meaning and sentiment from Facebook comments!). Working directly with the Senior Director of Industry Solutions, you will use our proprietary software and methods to create industry specific solution sets, which will become a key tool for selling our products.
