Overview
Attensity's Text Analytics suite of applications allows companies to unleash powerful information previously hidden in unstructured or free-form text. The technology allows users to extract and analyze facts like who, what, where, when and why and then allows users to drill down to understand people, places and events and how they are related. It then creates output in XML and in a structured relational data format that is fused with existing structured data so that it can be analyzed using Attensity's web-based decision support applications, Attensity Discover, Attensity Analytics, Attensity Text Search and Attensity Classify or by using business intelligence applications already installed in the enterprise.
Attensity Discover
Attensity Discover enables business analysts to investigate the facts extracted from text using Attensity's extraction engines. Analysts query and explore newly structured data to uncover who, what, where, when and why and can then drill down to understand people, places and events and how they are related.

Attensity Analytics
Attensity Analytics provides business users with drill down and visualization tools to slice, dice and analyze important facts and aggregations of facts extracted from text using Attensity's extraction engines. The application is focused on allowing business users to analyze the facts found in text and compare that to structured data.

Attensity Text Search
Attensity Text Search is a powerful application for searching text documents that ultimately combines text search with Text Analytics. It enables users to conduct searches on their text and then take their search results and seamlessly conduct deeper text analysis of the facts that are extracted from the text documents using Attensity's extraction engines.

- Delivers correct results without requiring exact matches and in spite of misspellings and other inconsistencies
- Allows the search entry to be a word, phrase, sentence or paragraph
- Provides confidence ratings for the returned results of a search query, and those with an exact match are given the highest confidence rating
- Support for search strings including AND, OR, and NOT operations and user defined relevancy constraints (e.g., return only results where relevancy is > 90%)

Attensity Classify

The business user conducts deeper analysis on the documents in these groups using Attensity Discover and Attensity Analytics.

Attensity Alerts

Attensity Alerts trigger emails and notifications in the Attensity product suite that highlight trends and provide a targeted and directed workflow toward potential problem areas, by informing the user that this kind of information is available after an extraction run takes place.
