As program coordinator, Attensity Europe plays an important, central role in the THESEUS research program. The THESEUS Program Office (TPO) coordinates the work within the consortium and provides comprehensive support in the areas of public relations, project management (work package and mile stone planning), program development as well as internal and external partner networking. The TPO represents the consortium in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), responsible for the project. The TPO also connects contacts, supports dialog with parties interested in the program, maintains the program networks with THESEUS - Joint research, and cultivates collaboration between all involved parties. 

Over a period of five years, the research program will develop a variety of scenarios for internet based knowledge infrastructures, also called use cases. In addition to its role as THESEUS program coordinator, Attensity Europe also heads two of the six existing use cases. ORDO and PROCESSUS are mutually developed and evaluated in conjunction with other THESEUS consortium partners.
