Attensity is the innovator in Text Analytics solutions for commercial enterprises and government organizations. Attensity's solutions join, for the first time, structured and unstructured data to speed response to important events that, until now, have been difficult to detect and analyze.

Attensity boasts customers across a breadth of Global 2000 organizations. These organizations use Attensity's Text Analytics solutions for a variety of purposes including reducing warranty costs, improving the ability to hear the "voice of the customer," identifying money laundering activities and enhancing insurance claims processing, among others.

Government intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement agencies rely on Attensity to help detect and prevent potential threats by structuring and analyzing the vast amounts of text found in written reports, communications, open source documents and other data feeds. In addition, Government logistics organizations utilize Attensity software to improve the reliability and supportability of a variety of military vehicles, weapons and components, by converting unstructured data from service notes and repair logs into relational tables, so that an automated approach can be used to quickly identify and resolve manufacturing and maintenance issues. Various government agencies also use Attensity applications for law enforcement activities.

Attensity Corporation is a privately held company with headquarters in Palo Alto, CA, a technology center in Salt Lake City, UT and a government sales and support office in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Founded in early 2000, Attensity's technology is the culmination of nearly a decade of research in computational linguistics. The company's commercial customers include Fortune 2000 enterprises, and in the government sector represent a long list of government intelligence and law enforcement agencies, as well as In-Q-Tel, a private not-for-profit group funded by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. In-Q-Tel is also an investor in Attensity. Attensity also maintains ongoing relationships with leading systems integrators and consultants including Booz Allen Hamilton, EDS, Northrop Grumman and SAIC, and business and technology partnerships with such vendors as Business Objects, IBM and Teradata.
