Attensity Boosts Management Team with Appointment of Michelle de Haaff as Vice President of Marketing
Software Marketing Expert Added to Expand Into New Markets and Scale Business to Meet Growing Demand
PALO ALTO, Calif., July 18, 2005 -- Attensity, the innovator in software applications that analyze text, has appointed Michelle de Haaff as vice president of marketing. She brings over a decade of marketing and product management experience to Attensity, having most recently held the position of vice president of marketing and product management at CoolSign Media. In her role as Attensity's vice president of marketing, de Haaff will oversee all product management, corporate and industry-specific marketing efforts.

Michelle de Haaff has had a highly successful career in managing marketing and branding strategies for large corporations as well as start-up companies. During her recent tenure with CoolSign Media, de Haaff developed marketing programs that more than doubled the company's revenue in just six months. Prior to CoolSign, de Haaff spent almost five years at Blue Martini Software, where she led all product management efforts on a company-wide basis and drove the development initiatives of a 60-person team. In her role as a general manager, she was responsible for the company's business-to-consumer unit and drove efforts that generated over $8 million in revenue in two successive years. Prior to Blue Martini Software, as Levi Strauss & Company's worldwide manager for e-commerce and marketing technology, de Haaff managed the direct-to-consumer CRM teams that focused on business intelligence and content management. She earlier served as a consultant with Ernst & Young, where she was a CRM practice manager with clients such as Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, Fluor Daniel Corporation, Sun Microsystems, and Xerox Corporation.
