Attensity Named to Venture Reporter 100
November 19, 2002, Salt Lake City, Utah -- Attensity Corporation, the emerging leader in Early Warning and Response software solutions, announced today that it has been named to the Venture Reporter 100 - listing the 100 top venture-backed companies in America - by Venture Reporter magazine.
Venture Reporter is a quarterly publication that covers the venture capital community and emerging growth companies. Its Venture Reporter 100 lists the top companies to have closed either a seed or Series A round of financing between June 1, 2001 and September 30, 2002. In making its selections, the Venture Reporter editorial staff considered factors like sustainability of business plan, quality of leadership, intellectual property, and general health of the industry.
"We were very pleased to learn that Attensity had been selected to the Top 100," said Todd Wakefield, the company's co-founder and President. "It confirmed that our strategy is sound and our people are executing that strategy effectively, in spite of challenging economic conditions."
Wakefield added that the honor is a fitting tribute to the talent and dedication of Attensity's employees. "Our people have developed extraordinary technology, and they're using it to help both the federal government and leading Fortune 500 companies solve some of their toughest problems," he said. "It's gratifying to see our people recognized not only for what they have accomplished to date, but also for the opportunity they have created to continue delivering value to our customers and shareholders for the long term. That's a big part of what the Venture Reporter 100 represents."
